Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Albuquerque and graduated from the University of New Mexico, then I got out to explore the world a bit.
I lived in various towns and cities on the east coast doing gig work for a year before joining Peace Corps Timor Leste where I worked with community development in the rural mountains of Liquica, after I was done I continued living in country and working with Arte Moris. Now I have been back stateside for a few years and working in development at a nonprofit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reason I am hosting is because I have a deep appreciation for locality and love to share this when I can. The reason I will be surfing is that I think there is something beneficial about living with someone who has lived in a place to give perspective.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste ranges from Red dirt country, classical, swing era jazz, tropical electronic, indie, to world.
My favorite movie of all time is Gattaca but I love movies that make you think about the world a little differently.
Books have to eat up on a daily basis like people need starch.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook an American/Indian/ Timorese blend of food. I have a lot of great stories and I love soul searching with people.
