About Me
Ciao!! I'm Stefano, a 25 year old PhD student in Cardiff! I was born in Italy where I studied medical engineering!
I am very interested in different cultures and way of thinking, so I moved abroad first in Stockholm for the Erasmus, then in Wales! I hope to have in the future more chances to live somewhere else!
One more thing about me: cannot live without a bicycle!! There's nothing that makes me relax more than a long ride under the sun! I even rode my bike to my bachelor's and master's graduations wearing the suite!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Get to know people from different countries in order to learn about their habits and culture, as well as their country and hometown.
It needs quite a while to know somebody, so I think that couchsurfing is the right way to know your host or guest!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm always with my headphones on! I listen to different genres, but 80s rock is definitely my preferred one! I love Toto, they are the best!!
My favorite movies? Ofc Into the Wild! So amazing, so inspiring as well as a little bit intimidating, though!
So far the Pillars of the Earth, so an enjoyable book based on, to be honest, a so boring plot!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A three days hiking trip at Val di Rabbi, Italy. With a friend of mine we slept in two different mountain shelters, gaining a total elevation of 2300 m over the three days. The most amazing thing was being nearby a mountain lake, alone, at 7 o'clock, in the freeze, enjoying the complete silence of the place. It was marvellous, i still have the goose bumps thinking about it!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think I have a lot to teach, but a lot to learn and share!
I forgot, I can teach to cook risotto!
