I was an Au-Pair in London last year and now I’m back in Germany for my studies. I love travelling. So I just want to use this opportunity to explore as much as I can. This summer I went on an interrail trip and as travelling for me is not only about seeing new places but meeting locals I really appreciate Couchsurfing for that!
I was raised quite international as my father is French and living in Germany. So I speak fluently French, German, Englisch and Norwegian. In 10th grade I wanted to explore new things and I decided to live a year abroad. I would have never expected that this year had such an impact! It wasn't only about the new experiences but also about myself and what I wanted to do. Therefore I really want to travel as much as possible and discover as many "hidden gems" as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Cause I think it's an amazing way to get to know new people and at the same time to improve my knowledge about other countries. I hope to have loads of new experiences and a lot of fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love music. I play the flute myself and a bit of piano and guitar. Otherwise I listen a lot to Nothing But Thieves, Twin Atlantic, Muse, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Seafret, Tom Odell and loads more...Reading is one of my favourite things to do. Most of the time I am reading fantasy books but I am always happy to read other things too. Harry Potter is always a favourite and books as the Shadowhunter Chronicles and Skulduggery Pleasant can cause never stopping reading sessions! As mostly everyone nowadays I also really appreciate to see a good movie. I don't really have a favourite movie so I kind of watch everything I find interesting. To give some hints I enjoyed for example Game of Thrones, Suits, Lillyhammer, Reign, Sherlock Holmes to mention a few series. Movies I really love Harry Potter ( but trust me the books are better!) Fantastic Beasts, Chocolat, all the Hobbit movies... but I like way too many to tell you all of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer my friend and I went traveling around Europe. We spend our time seeing so many new places making new experiences and wandering around cities we’ve never been to. It was just us, a backpack and a hope to see as much as we can! We met so many nice and interesting people and made a whole lot of new friends during this trip. It really was the best month of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my experiences aboard and from at home. Honestly I don't really know what to write here so I guess I just share as much as I can and try to teach you what I can. I love learning new things. Everyday is a new opportunity to learn something I didn't know before and I try to appreciate everything I learn. The more you know the easier to understand and support others!
