My name is Annaëlle. I'm a 25 years old french girl who was born and raised in Brittany and who just graduated in biology. It will probably sound a little bit cheesy but before entering the working life, I've decided to make one of my dream come true... I've decided to go to South America to volunteer in a wildlife sanctuary for a month at least in the small town of Samaipata in Bolivia. I don't really know exactly how much time I will stay in Bolivia but if everything goes as good as planned, I would also like to do humanitarian work in Argentina and maybe Peru. Of course, I will also like to visit all of these beautiful countries and meet their inhabitants. I've decided to break out of my comfort zone and do something I would never imagine I will be able to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking for a real immersion in the culture in order to fully experience the culture of the place I am visiting. I want to learn about all the small things that can't be found in travel books or on the internet... the things that only someone from the city I'm visiting would know. I want true authenticity and I think that nothing is more authentic than sharing for a day or an evening the life of a local. I want you to take me around your city, share a drink with me in your favorite places or more simply to spend a few hours talking about your dreams or your passion. I want to try things I would never thought I would do. I want to make everyday of my life a new adventure, full of surprises. I want to meet new people and learn everything about them, their stories and their ways of living on a daily base.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In february, I've made a one month road trip with one of my best friend in Brazil. The whole trip was amazing so there is not one story in particular I would like to share but it was definitely my biggest adventure.
