I am Mimi, 25 years old and like cooking, dancing, traveling and meeting new people.

Love walking in the sunshine, listen to music making me happy, see new places, travel of course and having guests.

I studied special needs and worked in a psychiatric clinic for teenagers. After I was volunteering for the 4th time in Uganda and was traveling at begin of 2019 5 different countries - what an amazing experience.

Now I live in Gulu, Uganda with my beloved fiance to fight for the rights of street kids! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love meeting new people, having guest, like to listen to travel-stories from others, get inspired by people and other cultures, love cheap and uncomplicated traveling... I think these are enough reasons to be a couchsurfer :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

worked four times in an orphanage in Uganda, did water rafting on the Nile, safari tours, got enganged on the beach ... :)

Founded with my fiance our own organization "Children Care Uganda" to fight with street kids for a better future. :))
