Hey guys!

My name is Maïa, I'm originally from France but I now live in Australia. my goal in life is to see as much as I can of the world and it's beauty but also meet as many new people, blend in with new cultures and share some love and good moments while respecting each other's culture and background! I love traveling solo because it's always easier to meet new people and get out of your comfort zone a little, makes me feel alive!

I love Art in general but especially writing in all its forms ( journal, rap, poetry, lyrics ect..) and music, my favorite genre would probably be reggae dub and hip hop at home and funky house when I'm out! I'm also passionate about vintage style photography on film !
I'm extremely conscious about the environment and I want to keep my impact on earth as little as possible (unless if I'm traveling by plane obviously... lol) which is why I'm also vegetarian!

I heard about couchsurfing through a mate and I loved the idea straight away!
I think the best way to discover a new country is throughout a local's eye and it's just fun to hang out with someone we've never met before like that :)

I'm very respectful of other people's space, I can be really bubbly and curious, I'm always up for a chat but I can also do my own thing. I love cooking and I'll be more than happy to cook meals for my host! I also like to loose myself in a city and take photos and I'll be happy to share that skill with someone!
