Overview
About Me
I am working in theater, alternately as an actor, director, assistant or dramaturg. Formerly I worked as a lawyer in the Brussels bar. I am a very curious and social person, and I enjoy spending time with old and new friends, meeting people on the road, discovering cultures and countries.
I love music, theater, books - arts in general. I like to share it, and I also get very curious when somebody makes me discover his passion.
I used to travel a lot when I was younger, but my previous jobs didn't give me the opportunity to do it often. Now that I gained some freedom, I am willing to take the road as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I recently moved into my apartment and would be pleased to share my extra room for travellers from around the globe. I love to make people discover my city - "Bruxelles, ma belle" as we call it! We've hosted couchsurfers with my roommates when sharing a house and I really loved the experience. Whether you want to discover touristic places, typical Brussels neighbourhoods or nightlife, I'd be pleased to share it with you.
I travel a lot for my job (we are on tour across Europe/world with a play), and would also love to discover more of the places that we tour in if I have the opportunity to stay a little longer.
I also love to travel without notice, improvised city trips. I don't always follow travel guides, I mostly let my feet decide where they are going.
As an artist with low income, I travel on a moderate budget, but I would never take advantage of people. I am willing to participate as much as I can and make it a real shared experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of music, mainly rock, French "chanson", jazz. I play the guitar and like to sing a lot.
When I have time to read, I like 20th-century American literature, but also classical or ancient literature. I love going to the theatre, I sometimes improvise city trips to watch a play of a director I like if it doesn't tour in Belgium. I also enjoy concerts and festivals - I can get totally crazy when listening to a very good band live.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My whole student life in Paris was an extraordinary adventure. The "bohème" life of a poor young artist as you would see in books and movies! Sleepin in the street after a beak-up, being hungry, but being incredibly happy. (As Hemingway said, Paris is "A Moveable Feast"!) Now that settled grown-up-life has caught me, I find in travel the way to rebind with this sense of adventure.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't like to have a tight schedule full of touristic visits but would much rather spend time with people of the places where I stay. I don't cook like a pro but I love to do it, so if I can help...
