About Me
Hello!
I'm 26 years, from Chile and live in Concepción, a city in the south of my country; I studied Business Management and I'm currently working in sales as a Commercial Assistant. Started travelling like 2 years ago; went to USA with a Working Holiday Visa and lived like 4 months there working and dealing with snow. After finishing my contract I started travelling. I was alone so I did it on my own, and realised how much I enjoy travelling, knowing new places and meeting new people. Last year I had the chance of living in Ireland for a short time, and again, travelling in very poor but funny conditions for some countries in Europe where I had some friends who I stayed with. Now I'm back in Chile, trying to deal with my normal life and pretend that I'm a fully grown-up person ready to get a steady job and buy a house but... I keep saving money to spend in a new adventure!
I love crafts, arts, music and books. I studied music for several years and I played in different orchestras. In my free time I like knitting, crocheting, cross stitching, painting watercolors, reading and visiting new places and take photos. Love playeing pool (even though I'm terrible on it), and spending time working in a Tolkien Literature Society.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here because when I started travelling I realized that Couchsurfing was the best way to stay in a city and meet new nice people. It's such a good experience when you visit a place and you find people who's happy to meet and receiving you in the nicest way at their houses. And you feel very comfortable being with your hosts because you know that they're as excited as you for meeting people from diferent places of the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like music for every single decade, from 30's to 90's, like Jazz, Ragtime, Rock and Roll, the 60's rock (such as The Beatles), Disco, Funk, Progresive Rock, Rock, Alternative Rock, Indie, Grunge, Electronic, Electroswing, Pop, Europop, and so on.
My favourite books are Daddy-Long-Legs and Fahrenheit 451, although I love a lot of other books, such as Isabel Allende's books, Robert Louis Stevenson, Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Julio Verne, H.G. Wells, Oscar Wilde, and too many others I don't remember right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Playing the flute as solist in a big Theatre in Santiago of Chile.
Travelling alone the most of the time. I love it.
