About Me

I'm traveling through Canada with my friend Wince. His profile is linked in my friend-list.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel a lot in Canada and while I'm doing this, my major issue is to improve my english and get to know as many nice people as possible in the time I've got. I also think that's a great idea, but I'm still young and therefore I couldn't host people already but when I move to Berlin after this journey I'll definitely plan to host by myself.
Therefore couchsurfing seems like the best option for me to travel with my best friend at low costs with as many great experiences as possible. I look forward to have good and funny but also enlightening conversations with a glass of good wine with everyone who is interested to spend time with me.
But I'm also into doing my own stuff because I will try to see as many things as possible at every stop of my journey and when you want to join me I would also like it. But it would be great to get some hints and recommendations from people who know the area. So couchsurfing fits my interests and expectations for a interesting and happy journey best.

Interests

I'm very interested in politics and philosophy and therefore I love to chat and discuss with other people, because i love to learn to know as many opinions and wisdoms as possible in order to enrich my worldview.
I also like to celebrate with my friends in the many clubs my hometown has to offer.
I love dancing to good electronic music in general, whether it's Techno or Drum & Bass .
I'm also interested in meeting as many interesting people as possible when I'm abroad and when I'm in Germany I try to achieve this too. Because in my opinion you can't know enough people, who help you to evolve yourself and make you a more reflected and open-minded person in every situation the life has to offer.
So you could say that I have a big interest in improving my knowledge every day.
In order to achieve this goal I read a lot of books sometimes several at once.
I also listen to music a lot and love to visit gallery's and little ateliers because I'm very open for the beauty and wisdom every kind of art has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Jazz, Oldschool Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Classical music, Techno, Lo-Fi, Drum & Bass, sometimes Cloud Rap

Movies: all kinds of surprising movies like Matrix, Inception in which you can't see the end coming because I like surprises.
I also like melancholic and old European cinematography like the "Werckmeister Harmonies" and independent movies like "Victoria". I'm also very interested in films which include good music whether it's Hip-Hop or classical music because I want to connect to the movie in different ways.

Books: My favorite book is "1984" by George Orwell. I like classic german literature for example Kafka, Goethe and Schiller. But I'm also into fictional-and non-fictional novels like "Inkheart" or "The Unbearable Lightness of Beeing". So in general you can say that I'm not into a specific genre as long as the book is written in a charming and intelligent way and I can connect to the story pretty fast.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm very young and I have plenty of time left to do amazing things. But in my short lifetime I've spent many great evenings with my friends drinking wine, talking and laughing together. In my opinion that's what life should be about and not about doing amazing things. Find the beauty in the little things.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very open-minded person and people say about me that you can always have a good talk with me.
I also like to cook with other people and it's needles to say that I clean the kitchen afterwards.
I like to share my interests and opinions with other people in order to have good and long discussions and therefore I'm open for new opinions and impressions which help me to evolve while I'm traveling.
