Hello everybody!
I'm an Italian girl. I was born and grew up in the Tuscan countryside nearby Florence. I lived in Rome for 7 years because of my studies, but during this time I spent a year and a half in Germany, doing an exchange program. I lived in Florence in the past 3 years. Now it's time to embrace my sweet and beloved restlessness. That's why 2024 is meant to be my nomad year, in which I only want to be committed to let insights arise from my deepest depth.

I'm a person who tries her best to improve and to be happy every day (despite the awareness that we are all going to die), finding the right balance between my freedom and my necessity of solitude, and my other necessity, to spend quality time with others.

Soy una chica italiana. Nací y crecí en el campo toscano a los alrededores de Florencia. Viví en Roma por 7 años por mis estudios, pero durante este periodo pasé un año y medio en Alemania, haciendo un intercambio. Viví en Florencia en los últimos tres años.
Ahora ha llegado el momento de abrazar mi dulce y amada inquietud. Es por eso que el 2024 está destinado a ser mi año nómada, en el que solo quiero comprometerme a dejar que las percepciones surjan de mi profundidad más honda.

Soy una persona que trata de mejorarse y ser feliz cada día (a pesar de la conciencia de que todos vamos a fallecer), encontrando el justo equilibrio entre mi libertad y mi necesidad de pasar momentos sola y, mi otra necesidad, pasar tiempo de calidad con los demás.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have to be honest, probably I've signed up for Couchsurfing because when I was a student I hadn't that much money to travel. Anyway, this materialistic aspect was definitely not enough to describe why I decided to be part of this community. I love meeting people and talking with them. I really believe that sharing different ideas, cultures and ways of life makes you a better person. What I mean by "better" is that you reach another level of consciousness. You feel less of an individual and more of a human being, creating a net which I do believe is one of the keys to changing the world or at least redirecting it. Yes, I know.. I look like such an idealistic dreamer, but I'm young, so let me think that way, please!

Tengo que ser honesta, probablemente me inscribí en Couchsurfing porque cuando era estudiante no tenía mucho dinero para viajar. De todos modos, este aspecto materialista definitivamente no fue suficiente para describir porque elegí de ser parte de esta comunidad. Me encanta conocer gente y hablar con ellos. Realmente creo que compartir diferentes ideas, culturas y formas de vida te hace una mejor persona. Lo que quiero decir con "mejor" es que alcanzas otro grado de conciencia. Te sientes menos un individuo y más un ser humano, creando una red que creo que es una de las claves para cambiar el mundo o al menos dirigirlo. Sí, lo sé ... me parezco una soñadora idealista, pero soy joven, así que déjame pensar de esa manera, ¡por favor!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made friends with a Bedouin. I went to his village riding his donkey, we took what we needed for a dinner and then we went in the middle of nowhere. We were only surrounded by sand and rocks. He cooked for me a very frugal dish, we smoked shisha and we drank tea with the company of a small fox which was running around us.

Fui amigos con un beduino. Fui a su pueblito cabalgando su burro, tomamos lo que nos necesitábamos para cenar y luego fuimos en el medio de nada. Estuvimos solo rodeados por arena y rocas. Él cocinó por mí un plato muy frugal, fumamos shisha y bebimos te con la compañía de un chiquito zorro que estaba corriendo entorno a nosotros
