About Me
In a nutshell, hiker, diver, sailor, homebrewer of beer and other drinks, and stuff...
I have been working in a technology and engineering company for quite some years in Bariloche, a small city by the patagonian Andes. It was quite a nice life but decided to take some time off to travel, so I quit my job. I am aiming to travel by crewing sailboats and of course, pay a visit to the shore towns where the wind and tides sweeps me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people and share experiences. Traveling without shearing with other people and their culture is comparable to no more than a museum.
Interests
I like being outdoors and enjoy a lot hiking, biking, sailing, etc. But I also enjoy the good things a city can offer like museums, architecture, music festivals, and of course, a nice place to have a beer.
When I travel I like to learn about the culture and history of the place I am visiting, that's why I also enjoy museums, specially history and art. But there's nothing like hearing it from the local people.
Music, Movies, and Books
Man... too many things, from Casablanca to Mars Attaks
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sail aboard Northlys, a 1873 ketch, from Belgium to Spain through the English channel and Biscay gulf.
Teach, Learn, Share
