It is true that through couchsurfing you also have the chance to travel in a cheaper way. Nevertheless if the main reason why you are here is this one, I don't believe we will get along quite well. The thing that made me who I'm today is the fact that i left my home when i was 16, first I went to Greece for the summer all by myself and had a time of my life.
That was the start of my independency and a wake up of my curiosity for the cultures and monuments that have been made ether by hand or by God.
