I'm a lively and generally happy person, meaning I always try to see life from a positive perspective. I love discovering new places, getting to know it through local nooks and crannies, not only absorbing the touristic sights.

I always find that the best way to discover everything about a place is through people, their experiences and insights. New acquaintances have always been the most important part of any travels I've undertaken and they leave the most memorable imprint on my mind when the travel ends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can appreciate and enjoy a wide range of music, depending on the setting and my mood (isn't that almost always the case tho): from classical cello sounds to indie rock to house music. Since I'm a reader, I've consumed a lot of written words, from all sorts of genres. My favorite books by far, however, are those in dystopian settings, like 1984 or The Road. As far as movies go, I watch everything except horror movies, since I find them ridiculous. My favorite piece of cinema art is Life is Beautiful (highly recommended!).

I can share all the local and interesting insights into Lithuanian culture, all the facts one should know before visiting that Baltic jewel. As well as silly, but often entertaining (or so I've been told) sense of humor.
