Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm tired to travel from hostel to hostel and having the same conversation again and again. Airbnb used to be another preferred way to travel but it the last couple of year I've become less and less prompt to use it because of all the negative impact it has on communities all across the world. Im looking for a new way to travel by meeting people one by one, offering me more tranquility and personal space than hostel without contributing to the rising problem that is gentrification of every big city worldwide.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the absolute privilege to espace COVID restrictions by living a full year in a Inuit (Eskimo) community in Northern Canada. In that year I was able to camp under the northern light countless times and to witness the traditional and millineal lifestyle of those fascinating people, master of the ice, snow and cold. I spent many month under -30°c in that environment
