I am a French woman living in Guatemala for a few years. I'm a cultural journalist./I lived in Spain, Portugal, Ecuador and Peru. I have friends all over the world. I have always lived in shared apartment (with Spanish, American, German, Australian and Portuguese and Ecuadorian people).I traveled all over Europe (Sweden, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, + 10 other countries, saw the Northern Lights in Iceland, make the way to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, ...) in Africa (only in Algeria, before discovering more!) and Central America (diving in Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica)
The year 2017 is a year of great change as I am going world-trip to meet artists and attend cultural events for my work. But I can not travel without knowing the locals and talking, cooking, partying, visiting, drinking coffee, walking, laughing ....I am convinced that conversing and practicing is the only way to learn a language well and to know each country.

I have spent the last 10 years traveling (for my studies, work or pleasure) and it is very important for me to integrate myself into the life of the inhabitants of the country.
In 2017, I do a world trip. I write for international cultural magazines. I will meet artists and attend cultural events. I do not have work schedules or really definite schedules. I want to ENJOY this trip 100%.
However, I want to take time to walk, to visit, to talk, to drink a coffee, to laugh, to party, to cook, with the people who will share a moment of their life with me.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

With all the trips I have made, it is very difficult to choose a kind of music that I like. I'm an eclectic person (opera, classical music, pop music, folk, salsa, cumbia, hip-hop, fado, flamenco, etc. But if I can dance .... it's better !
I like the old classics of American, French, Spanish... cinema. There are so many choices.
I love the independent cinema even if a good blockbuster does not hurt.
But I think, I have a favorite movie. It is the Japanese movie directed in 2008 by Yōjirō Takita: "Departures". A pearl of Japanese cinema!
For literature, I am interested in all genres (biography, history, essay, poetry, theater, art, photography, travel .....) I am a curious and bookworm. I have books in French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
I even have a book in Polish (while I do not read Polish). I took it from a bar in Warsaw because I loved its book cover!
