I'm a 20 year old student from Barcelona. I study English and Catalan language and literature at university and also do performed poetry on the side. I've travelled quite a bit around Europe although I'd also love to see more and I've also lived abroad, in Ireland.

I'm on couchsurfing because I'm looking for a safe, fun and affordable way to travel and explore by myself. I also enjoy meeting people from different places and getting to know the more authentic bits of different countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Picking favourites is so incredibly hard.

I love music very much. Lately I've been enjoying mostly hip hop and r & b (artists like SZA, Kendrick, Childish Cambino, Chance, Aminé... many more really). I'm also a huge fan of Mika, have been for years, and bands like the Arctic Monkeys. I'm literally stressing out from the task of listing my music tastes because I listen to so much. I love playlist-making.

As for books, they're also incredibly important to me, in fact I dedicate most of my time to them. Sadly most of my reading lately has been for school and I always feel like I should be reading more, and more widely. I've loved reading Woolf, Lispector, Rodoreda...

There's a lot of movies everyone's seen that I haven't.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow no pressure.

I'm particularly proud of what I've done artistically. I don't know if any of this could be considered AMAZING but I've won poetry contests, written it and performed it in three different languages and also acted in plays in three different languages.
