Overview
About Me
I'm always up for meeting new people and learning about different cultures and places. I can be all over the place and I like to surround myself with happy and positive people.
I'm a biomedical science student and I can talk about science until I'm stopped!
I'm interested in history, especially the beginning of 20th century. I think it's very relevant to what's happening in the world now.
I'm a vegan and love all animals. I have 5 cats myself, and would happily meet a fellow cat person! Dog/goat/horse/etc people also welcome ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and getting to know different cultures. I am very much a supporter of the idea of one world with no borders, so we could all go anywhere we want.
I can't currently host but would happily show you around and be good company!
Number one of my places to see is Cambodia, especially Angkor Wat. I would also love to see India and Peru. If I can manage to find enough time and money I really want to go backpacking through Asia.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love pop-punk and rock music, but there's something in every genre that will be in my taste. My favorites are Simple Plan, Rammstein, Deaf Havana, Pierce the Veil. I go to music gigs quite often and would be happy to show you some local bands and venues!
I'm always happy to see a good movie, especially horror or thriller (even though it's hard to find a good one nowadays!). My favorites include Forrest Gump, The Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan. Basically anything with Tom Hanks will do!
A good book is also appreciated, but I read mostly scientific literature and I understand that not everyone is into that. My most favourite ever is The Disappearing Spoon and I will always and forever recommend it to everyone who is interested in learning more about the world. I also like Stephen King and George Orwell.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It doesn't sound too exciting but was definitely a big one for me: speaking about Virology to over 1,000 people, which was terrifying. It was a great experience though and was good to prove to myself that I can do it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you everything about viruses and microbes! ;) Also, I speak English and Polish fluently and would be happy to teach that if you're looking to learn. I'm pretty good at cooking too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can show you around Eastbourne and Brighton area, I know some hidden gems, especially if you like hiking and nature!
