I'm a german girl volunteering in Ireland at the moment. This summer I have finished my training as a social care worker in a home for mentally disabled adults. After that I had started my gap year in Ireland with Workaway.

And now there is the part where 8 of 10 CS people write down that they love traveling, exchanging and get to know new people and bla, bla, blubb ... of course!!! I wouldn't be at CS, if I would hate these things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my vounteering stay I'd like to visit interesting places in Irleand. For this I don't like to stay alone in a hotel or an appartement.

For me it's better to spend time with locals, because I get some information about the place that I visit, I have an exchange about travel experience and the most important thing for me: In general I have someone to talk with. Because I'd like to improve my English skills.

Interests

I like being outside and then I am mostly on the move, whether cycling, walking, hiking or swimming in the lake in summer.
I like sitting in a bar and I like music concerts.
I also spend my leisure time with LARP and carnival (I was an active member of a carnival club until this summer).
