Moved to San Francisco Bay area silicon valley in 2018 from Turkey through a cultural exchange program. I met my husband through our shared love of chess in silicon valley ♟️. I’ve been actively traveling sometimes with my husband, sometimes on my own.

People often ask why I don’t always travel with him. The truth is, his schedule doesn’t allow much free time, and he’s very supportive of me being adventurous, exploring the world, and traveling solo while I can. I feel very lucky for that.

As a female solo traveler, I’ve had a few uncomfortable experiences with Couchsurfing in the past, so I prefer to stay with women or couples.

I’m a solo backpacker at heart, passionate about exploring new places and connecting with people from around the world. I love hosting as well. I’ve opened my home to travelers from many countries, and those experiences have been some of the most meaningful parts of my journey.

I live in San Jose area 1 hour by train to SF and 40 minutes driving distance so if you are requesting to stay with me consider what to do around here. Train station 20 minutes walking distance from my place can take you San Francisco and other places. I have little train 5 minutes walking distance from me that connects to train to SAn francisco.
