I am currently on a two year adventure with my partner and dog. We have a small farm in WI where we have grown and raised our own food. Two years back we realized that we needed to grow more as people so we packed up rented the farm and hit the road!

In addition to living in new places and hanging out with creatives, I love to cook good food. I also try to ride my track bike as fast as I can. I read as much as I possible and am a bit of a podcast junky.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a former Airbnb hoast and have volunteered at hostals, but would like to move away from hosting with economic gain in mind. I have met so many good folks from around the world who speak highly of their Couch Surfing experience. I just had to give it a shot!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Modest Mouse, and Bright Eyes in their early years, along with Elliot Smith. Shoegaze I have always loved and experimental Jazz is beginning to intrigue me.

Movies: Anything Bill Murray!

Books: To Kill a Mocking Bird, Bakers Hawk, and Chassing Red Bird (I just realized that my three favorite books all have Bird in the title).
