About Me

I'm brazilian and I was studying for a semester in Madrid, Spain. Currently living in Athens for a new project and soon will be traveling around Europe!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like challenging myself, and meeting new people is a great way of stepping out of our confort zone! CS for me is about meeting new cultures, new perspectives, new ways of living. Oh, and it sure helps with the low budget travelling :)

Interests

I love being in contact with nature! I like hiking (although I still dont have a lot of experience) but as a piscis girl, being in the water is really my thing.. Also, I really like street art - I think Graffitis are one of the most amazing ways of using public spaces. Oh, and I really like to eat - specially to taste the tipical (vegetarian, please!) food of the places I visit.. Wine or beer are always a good plus!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many kinds of music, but I love MPB (brazilian popular music like Chico Buarque and Novos Baianos) and brazilian funk. Reggaeton is next on the list. Latin music is in my heart but I am also really fond of Bob Dylan, Beatles, Bob Marley...

I havent been able to read as much as I would like lately. I used to really like Earnest Hemingway and Garcia Márquez.. Right now I want to know more african literature and female writers in general.

For most arts, what I really admire is artists who use their work as a political instrument and form of activism.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a birthday in two continents, seeing the sun rise in África and set in Europe. For someone who had never been in the other side of the Atlântico, it meant a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good talking, going out for a beer... Oh, and maybe I can cook you something from Brasil with a vegetarian twist?
