Music, Movies, and Books

Especially in the area of music i am very open to new sounds and rhythms. I think that music is a good chance to come in touch with different cultures and people. Music is a language. Because of playing saxophone, sure my interest for Jazz is huge, but i also like classical music and have a favour for Cello, Violin and piano compositions. I like Rwandan dancing and the rhythms of East African drummers. Techno swing and french music is also part of my daily life. Stomae and Ceseria Evora inspired me a lot because of their "deept" inside their sontexts- you can laugh and cry at the same time, when you listen to their music. And I think that's exactly how life is.
I like movies with an interisting intention. I like the french humor, the colourful pictures of "Lalaland" and the strong characters in "once there were a hush puppy". A friend of mine showed me some Tarentino movies and I like masterpieces as Django and pulp fiction.
My movie of the month is definety: Mr. Nobody (2009)
Books... An endless topic. I read as much as I can. I read for fun and with patience. At the moment I am interested in short stories. One of my favorite is from the chiniese writer Ma Jian: "Where are you running to?" In my philosophy class I faced Robert Musil with "The man without characteristics". Not an easy one but very nice perspectives- timeless i could say. And moreover I contemplate Heidegger and Satre- moder philosophy is definetly one of my interests, even when I am still far from understanding it all ;)
Stefan Zweigs "The royal novel" is the final highlight.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoyed very much my voluntary service in Turkey Istanbul this year in August. I am thankful for the work with the children and young adults and it changed my perspective in various ways.

At the moment I am living in Poland for my studies and I am really impressed by the unpredictable and wonderful talks I already had in my neighbour country. It is very worthy to visit!
A great person teached my how to play chess and that recently entriches my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I need to practice so called "doing" skills. Sometimes I think to much and do to little. So please, when you know a good way to preper food, show me! Or how to repair things. I am always happy when someone can teach me a new language because lanuage is always the key to the people. I like to improve my French skills. A great Ukranian friend is teaching me the russian alphabeth and hopefully soon I can understand a bit more. Let us share what we like! And I am ready to give you a deep insight of my life.
You are very welcome to visit me in different places. Nothing is better than sharing a cup of tea or coffie while having a wonderful conersation. I have many connections to other cities and countries, so don't heasitate to contact me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with you interesting stories and very good talks about almost every topic. Even when i don't know much about it. I like to learn new things and hear from the passions of other people.
I think the best thing to share is a good feeling and a nice atmosphere.
Maybe my cooking talent is for many people a little bit too creative, but i try my best to make my hosts happy. I can sing and dance, write poems and play some guitar and saxophone. It will not become borring, trust me ;)
