Hi everyone! I am Öyküm. I was born in Tekirdağ but I have been living in İstanbul for 3 years now, to complete my university education. Right now, I am studying sociology in one of the best universities of Turkey, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi. I recently won an Erasmus scholarship to study one term in Paris. I am also planning to do a double major with political science. So we can talk about the current political situation of the world or pretty much about anything :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been a fan of travelling, that feeling of uneasiness you get when getting to know a new place, new people, overall, experiencing the new. I have been to UK and stayed there for 3 weeks. My France trip was not that long but I did enjoy Disneyland for sure. And finally not long ago, I have visited Rome with my little family, and ate all the pizza that Rome could offer.

I love Mumford&Sons, Arctic Monkeys, Chet Faker and many more, I don't exactly have a favorite type or artist.
I have been a major fan of everything about Harry Potter ever since I was a little kid. I also love Star Wars movies, Lotr movies&books, and I hate to admit that I had been a shameful member of the Twiligt fever.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I had a GPA of 3,61 over 4, so that was fun :) JK, I think surviving 3 weeks in UK on my own was pretty amazing.
