Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently travelling around South America with my girlfriend for 6 months and we want to learn as much as possible about the South-American culture, food, people, music, ... as we can! Couchsurfing is in my experience the perfect opportunity to meet a lot of new and interesting people and share experiences while travelling on a smaller budget. The perfect combo!

Besides that, I got to know couch surfing when we hosted some Travellers when I studied in Brussels together with roommates. I also want to let people visit and and experience my hometown of Mechelen, where I grew up and know all the nice places.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: From Bob Marley To bob Dylan while visiting some Ska, very eclectic and always interested in getting to know new music and styles.

Movies: A lot of different types of movies and from all kinds of directors, but a few examples are: Fight club - Into the wild - The beach - Gone girl - and many more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like adventure and love life so there were already a lot of amazing moments in my life, but our South-American trip that we just started (March 2017) will hopefully will be up on the list :)

I love to share Belgian culture with other travellers and learn about other cultures and traditions as well!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook quite well as I have worked as a chef, I would be happy to make a nice meal for everyone to enjoy!
