About Me

I'm a 24-year-old student of Social Work from Slovakia, normally living nad studying in Brno, Czech Republic, currently on Erasmus+ programme in Vilnius, Lithuania for half a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Let's face it, I'm a student - still do not have a proper job, but would like to get know other countries and different people anyway. I've been travelling a lot by hitchhiking and camping, visiting my friends in foreign countries or staying in hostels. I would like to discover another possibilities. From my previous experience I learned that it's completely different to talk about the place you're visiting with locals - the stories, the information, the places you would not know are worthy to visit. I would like to provide the same for some traveller going through Vilnius now, or in next half year through Brno, as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once me and my friend visited Antwerp and Glastonbury on our flight form Brno to London. How? We kind of missed the plane from Brno. However, we decided to not bail on the trip (we had return tickets) and we were hitchhiking all the way to Nice, stopped a car going to the ferry and got to London totally exhausted, but in approximately 24 hours (1500 km). Thanks to this unexpected twist our regular flight changed to the journey and gave us the chance to walk arround beautiful cities we've never been to and who knows, maybe never would. Interesting experience, but one of a kind is quite enough.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook some of our traditional meals and learn the host how to flip pancaces.

My experience from the cities I have lived in - local food, orientation in the city, useful tips, guidance to interesting places, nature - depends on the preferences of the visiter.
