A 24-year-old travel enthusiast from Finland. I study social sciences in the University of Helsinki and love coffee, animals and good movies. My studies mostly concentrate on cultures so I travel as often as possible and have friends pretty much all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know a new culture that way. More than anything, I love a good conversation that leads to both sides learning something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

Three of my favourite things right there. I listen to all kinds of music depending on situation. Same with movies and books. Lately i've been listening quite a lot of Jamiroquai and watching Wes Anderson's movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Indonesia I climed up the Ijen volcano and then down to the sulfuric acid crater lake to see the blue fire. Something I will never forget.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not so many people outside of Finland know that much of it - or have actually been there. So at least I can tell you a lot about Salmiakki, Sauna and Sisu!
