About Me
Hi! I am Klára. I am young czech student who try to enjoy every moment of life. I study at Palacky University in Olomouc, so during the week I live there but at weekends I come back to my hometown Valasske Mezirici. It´s a small town but very nice. I am very open mind, optimistic, tolerant, smilling, friendly and my friends say that sometimes too much talkative and crazy. I have no idea how they can say that.. I don´t even know what should I tell you about myself. I consider myself as impulsive extrovert (yeah I like psychology, so please don´t say that social sciences are useless ), I also like learning new things and new languages or at least some useful phrases from foreign languages. We czech have one proverb: How many languages you know- that many times you are a person. So one day I would like to be able to speak in many different languages. I find it very useful, because I really do love traveling, meeting new people and getting know their culture. And it is always kind from you, when you can tell them at least one sentence in their native language. Yeah I know I´ve just said "languages" for at least five times. So I am sorry that you had to read it but I study Czech and English filology at university so maybe that´s the reason why I have just mentioned it for so many times :)
What else should I tell to you.. maybe that I really like tasty food or just generaly food. I love cooking and especially baking. So if you want me to stop talking just give me a bar of chocolate or something like that :) I also like preparing coffee (and of course drinking it). My brother is a barista so he always teaches me the right coffee terminology (if you didn´t know so coffee is not made, coffee is prepared). But I am not so punctiliously as him, don´t worry, I just like to enjoy the taste and smell of coffee and it doesn´t matter if it is espresso or some coffee´s alternatives. I also try to do a latte art, but I am not really good at it. Sometimes I am able to do a heart into your coffee but I would say it is just by chance. Mostly you can see just a milk splotch in your cup, but if you have a fantasy you can see in it whatever you want.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and this is the main reason why I am on Couchsurfing. I would like to travel around the world and get to know new people and their culture, taste some special foreign food and generaly get new experiences. I always say Don't dream your life, live your dream. And one of my biggest dream is travel and see every hidden piece of our amazing planet. I also like the quote: We travel because we need to, because distance and difference are the secret tonic to creativity. When we got home, home is still the same, but something in our minds has changed, and that changes everything. -Jonah Leher
Interests
I am interested in many things. But mostly I enjoy reading books, preparing coffe, walking and chatting with people. And of course traveling. My ideal afternoon looks like: just sit in my favorite cafe with cup of tasty coffe, piece of cheesecake and some interesting book. In the background can be played some lovely calm music and you can feel the great smell of the coffe and book everywhere in the air. Yeah that's it. Have you just imagined it? I have.
