I'm from South Korea, 50 years old, living in Seoul. I have worked for a construction company in Seoul and quit my job last December. And I started traveling in Central America in the end of January. Now I'm staying in San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala for 4 weeks. I'm studying Spanish in a Spanish school here for my travel. I'm going to visit other places antique in Guatemala and move to Mexico in March. After México, I'm going to visit Cuba in April.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm moving to Mexico on second week of March for traveling some ancient places and visit Monterrey in the northern part of Mexico to meet a couple of local persons for consulting.

Interests

I'm learning Spanish these days for good communication with other people on my travel. I hope I can get help in practicing Spanish from hosts.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to popular music, watching action movies and reading books on history and culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done is starting travel in Central America here for 3 months. Because of distance from my county, it's difficult traveling in Central America. It's my first time traveling in other countries for this long time in all my life. Thanks to my wife for allowing travel by myself in Central America.

Teach, Learn, Share

I practiced Taekwondo(second grade black belt) when I was young and I also enjoyed ice hockey for 2 years recently in Korea.

Frankly speaking, I don't have anything special to share with hosts now. But I can share with Korean culture, life style, language, etc. if the hosts have interest in them.
