My name is David, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Madrid, Spain and this is my simplified story:

I was born, studied, worked and spent the last 20 years in Madrid, one of the biggest cities in Spain where I have the majority of my friends and my family whom I love very much and where I have had wonderful experiences. But all my life changed when two years ago I decided to make my first trip in solitary, WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! Since then whenever I have the opportunity and money I travel, sometimes alone and other times accompanied and every time I like more.

About my personality and character I can only say that I consider myself a person with an open mind, I love meeting people, I don't like to judge and I like to draw the good side of all situations. I like to help whenever I can to others, with whatever, sometimes just a good conversation is enough. Another important thing is that I've always had a lot of energy, I always like to be doing something, I can not stand still, that's why I love all types of sports, but I think that the things that define me the most would be my adventurous spirit and I like to always be laughing.
I like to lead a healthy lifestyle and stay fit, both physically and mentally by reading.

In conclusion, I do not care what your skin color, your age, your religion, your political thinking, your sexual orientation or your gender, as far you are polite, and nice to me i will be same for you!

I'm in couchsurfing because it seems a very useful tool to meet people from other places and the culture of that country or region from within and to exchange knowledge, languages, experiences ... being able to make friends around the world is incredible!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I think all my experiences love me but if I had to choose some serious when I did the Camino de Santiago alone, it was an incredible experience, I saw landscapes that I had never seen and I knew amazing people and stories, but above all I learned a lot from myself, no doubt that I will repeat it.

I love knowing the culture of other places, learning other languages and knowing the way of life of people from other places, in the same way I also love being able to teach my language, some typical food of my country or just funny anecdotes, I'm sure we have so much to learn from each other!
