Hey, I'm Robin, I come from Holland and have lived there for all my life. I love music, parties, traveling and meeting new people. My biggest passion in life is producing music, which I also studied for 4 years and I've graduated in Sound Design. The music I love the most is Drum and Bass, but I also like a lot of other styles and I believe every genre has it's beauty. I also DJ and love going to festivals whenever I get the chance and I love to discover new places and cultures. What I really miss in Holland is nature, which is why I love to travel, as Holland is really flat and urban. I think a day without a laugh with someone else is a day wasted and I like to meet new people from all around the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel around the world and meet new people. Listen to music and explore new places. Besides this someone who is in need of a bed should always be offered a place to sleep, especially when you are on the road on an adventure, then I'dd be glad to be a part of that. For me, being on couch surfing is all about connecting to like minded social people around the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite artist has to be Amon Tobin. I like Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Jazz, Trip-Hop and many more styles of music. I don't really read a lot of books. Favourite movie has to go to Lord of the Rings (call me a nerd, but I love it!) and I like a lot of comedy movies too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've went to Let It Roll Festival in Prague for the last 4 years on a row, which is a mad experience every year! Also climbing over the fence and getting into the sold out Lowlands festival a few times (as that's a local tradition from youth in Lelystad, the place I came from) had to have been one of the craziest experiences I've had so far.
