Overview
About Me
A dance student from Latvia.
Apart from dance, interested in nearly everything. If you're not sure if I'm interested in your favourite topic- give it a try. Chances are that I'll be almost more interested than you yourself.
A rather good cook/ baker- and always happy to share food. Sometimes I manage to whip up very nice dishes from scratch- but I also sometimes fail when cooking with wonderfully fine ingredients, especially if I'm trying to follow a recipe, so one can never really trust my skills.
Travelling mostly for dance events- workshops, residences, auditions.
I have never been outside Europe, but love to meet people from all around the world. Dancing often lets me meet astonishing international people- which is one of the many reasons to love this occupation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Zero couchsurfing experience- trying to change that.
Hoping to socialise more during travelling, make friends and share stories.
I also really enjoy showing people around my own homeland, so if you're in Latvia and willing to experience the best of it- I'll be happy to share what I like most about my country and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
My musical taste is uncertain. I can like anything- from classical music to experimental, from folk to metal. I can also be very annoyed by any music sometimes.
My favourite films include (but are not limited to) Forrest Gump, Ray, Spider Man, My Girl and old Latvian films. If you know Alfons Aberg and love him, you're my kind of a person. I like old films a lot. However, in general, I am not a huge fan of cinema.
I love reading, yet it is very difficult to pick any books to mention here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being born.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Will bring Latvian sweets and the best bread in existence (at least from my point of view). I can also teach you a few nice stretching exercises (unless you're a ballet dancer/ a super hyper flexible person- then you can teach me) and share my knowledge about the Latvian traditional culture (I'm not quite an encyclopaedia though).
