About Me
HEY! I´m Jon Txomin, here in the US only Jon... my second name is too hard for American people :)
I studied politics and international relations, after finishing my studies I had very clear I didn't want to focus my career on this field and I started studying Library Science. Now I have very clear what my professional goals are and I'm working to became an academic librarian. Thanks to a scholarship I got the chance to have my first job experience in the Jon Bilbao Basque library located in Reno which is part of the University of Nevada Reno. I want to take advantage of this amazing opportunity and I'm 100% sure the CS Community will be part of this experience.
By the way... I'm pretty sure you can help me with my goal so tell me about your favorite writers and books.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
-CS is a way to get away from the traps of repeated travel-cliché circuits that we fall into when we are tourists
-The best way to get to know a place is with its people and you never know where and when you'll come across with people with very interesting lives... CS is also a way of making this happen.
