I live in Cambridge with my English partner. We love travelling, both short trips in the UK and around Europe as well as longer backpacking trips in other parts of the world. We are both easygoing and fun loving. We love good food, films and music, and enjoy sport of all kinds. When travelling we always try to go to live sporting events. It can be football, rugby, cricket or any other local sport that has a good crowd support. I try to do some scuba diving whenever possible. My other favourite sport is skiing, whilst at home it's mainly running, road cycling and swimming. We love going to the cinema and also enjoy watching European drama and crime series.

We both love travelling and having stayed in hostels, guesthouses, and homestays we thought cough surfing would be a great new way of meeting local people in new places. It's also the opportunity to learn about each place from someone who knows it and can give inside tips on what to do and where to go. The chance to discuss issues with someone who has a local perspective and knowledge that is different to ours.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Travelling around the world. Exploring new places and meeting new people is the thing I like the most. I've been lucky to be able to take longer periods away from work on a fairly regular basis and have had time to go trekking in the Himalayas, travelling around India, Southeast Asia, Australia, NZ,
South America as well as doing some volunteering at local charities and schools and most recently using Workaway to stay and work with local people.
