About Me
Hi , Lisa here from southwestern Ontario. I am also part of a couch surfing group that gets together regularly for meet ups at a cafe , hikes , and other events. I love getting out there and experiencing this fantastic way to travel and meet wonderful fellow travellers and make new friends. ❤
I have met the most amazing people who are now great friends in Air Bnb , hostels,CS and just travel in general.
I enjoy so many things. Meeting new people, travelling, kayaking, hiking, yoga, acting in small town theatre, exploring and so much more ! I am all about living life to the fullest and seeing as much of this beautiful world as I can while meeting and connecting with fellow true kind souls.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to meet people and hear about others adventures as well.
I meet new people every time I travel and it's one of the things I love the most when I come home, the new friends that make me so thankful to know such incredible souls in this world !

Music, Movies, and Books
Most genres for music... books...I switch between light fluffy romance .... (Nicholas sparks / Diana Gobeldon)... to interesting non fiction or based on true story etc... one non fiction favourite read was Roots. I've started Canoe Lake.. and have been reading a bit of books from people on the Camino de Santiago that I completed this summer. "Call of the Camino" is a favourite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The summer of 2019 I completed the CAMINO DE SANTIAGO Frances Route from St Jean Peid de Port ,France to Santiago de Compestella ,Spain. It took me 35 days with two rest days( Burgos & León) 800km.
Before I began my Camino, I flew to Paris and enjoyed some time there for a couple days. Then a train down to Bayonne. After I headed to SJPDP. After my Camino, I took a bus down to Porto Portugal for a couple days. Then a flew to London England and spent a couple days there. I then took a train to Glasgow Scotland where I stayed with family for 4 days. My last stop was Dublin Ireland before returning home to Canada. ❤ best summer ever ! 😁👍
