About Me

Hey there,

my name is Rebecca and I fell in love with the principle of CS in June 2017. Back then, I was living in Valencia, Spain as a student and had some weeks time to travel around Europe before the hard working life got me back. I travelled all alone and it was the best time of my life because I met so many adorable people.

I live (and grew up) in a very small village in Bavaria, Germany. No supermarkets, no busses nor trains. Nada. But super picturesque nature, which is also nice.

My biggest hobby is to travel and I still try to complete my perfect year, where I travel at least once a month. For me traveling means exploring a culture, the habits and living a life like a local. That’s why I could never stay two weeks in an all-inclusive hotel at a beach.

I also like doing sports - or at least trying to do them.. I used to play soccer for 10 years but to be honest, I'm still not good in it. And I try to be in the nature as often as possible, to go for walks or racing down mountain bike trails.

Uuh, and you have to know that I love eating! Good food is a passion. Therefore, I'm about to learn cooking! And I'm always open for new recipes and Tipps :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me Couchsurfing is the best possible way to get to know the culture, the cities and some crazy ass adorable people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm learning guitar right now and to be honest (I know I should be ashamed) I don't have one special direction of music I'm into. I always listen to music that is perfect for the situation and my mood. Going from 90s, over ABBA and Otis Redding to Rock and Dropkick Murphys.

Same with movies.
Books I prefer thrillers and catchy ones. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are so many amazing experiences that it would probably need one week to tell you all of them. I was living in Shanghai for 2 months and even from that short time there are hundreds of stories :) another amazing thing: I had a statist role in a cinema movie.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some German and tell you about our weird traditions. And as I work for a brewery I can tell you a lot about beer :) Besides I'm learning Spanish, French and Italian. So maybe I can improve these skills as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences from all over the world. I also had some subjects in psychology and I always have an open ear and an objective advise.
