I am a self made linguist from California with a passion for travel, language and culture. I teach multiple languages as well as translate and have also worked in restaurants. I am interested in traveling and discovering new cultures. I am very polite and am always happy to have a good time. I enjoy like-minded people; People who love to travel, cook, eat, drink and enjoy the beautiful things of life. I have lived in Mexico and in the United States.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to have a fun and genuine experience of local culture. Instead of being stuck in a hotel I want to get the local's point of view on local culture, food and politics but above all language. I am interested in photographing and documenting new places not only for myself but also to use that knowledge and experience to expand my language students' world and open them to new experiences. Of course my interest is not purely intellectual; I am ready to have fun and make many new friends!

I love all types of music. I love Spanish guitar. For books, I like to read about many subjects as long as they are in different languages and are not too shallow in content.

Going to the ancient City of Teotihuacan in the high Valleys of Mexico and climbing its pyramids.

I can help those learning English, Spanish, French, Italian or Japanese learn further. I teach these languages and have about fifteen years experience. I know how to cook excellent Mexican food as well as many other cuisines. So if you don't like to cook and want to learn any of these languages I am your guy!

I am really interested in learning local politics and have always wanted to learn guitar!
