About Me

Un ciudadano español y brasileño. Pero, en la verdad, me siento más un ciudadano del mundo.

A Spanish and Brazilian citizen. But, in truth, I feel more of a citizen of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Friends introduced me, friends are, new friends too. Open doors, making life, the world, nice people, inhabitants of something much bigger than the walls that enclose our homes.

Interests

Me gustan las gentes, sus cosas, sus pueblos. La arte y cultura en general. Historia, memoria, paisajes humanas e de la Naturaleza. Las cosas sencillas, pero hay mucho espacio para los grandiosos también.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am quite eclectic musically, but MPB, Jazz, Indie Rock, Has a special place in my taste.

Literature is already more closed, having the culture the classics and little I venture in what is more contemporary, unless the suggestion is very nice. Thus some works have a captive chair in the heart - Metamorphosis, Animal Farm, Hemigway.

I love cinema, directors, actors, assemblers. This makes it difficult for me to make the celebration of some more commercial films by the truism of themes, narrative and plots. But overall, top damn thing.

Some of my favorite movies are: Casablanca, Matrix, 2001 Odissey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am an enthusiast of stories, narratives, ... as much to hear them as to tell them.

Actually, I did a lot of things that I really like to remember. I took many of my students to diverse Latin American landscapes, such as Cuba, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru.

In Peru, I went with 19 students and did the classic 4 day trail. Ultra challenging, achievement is still the most striking of my life.

In Bolivia, accompanied by 45 students, we reached the highest point I have ever been in my life, Chacaltaya, at 5400 m altitude.

In Argentina, in a beautiful village, Alta Gracia, in Cordoba, we visited the homes of Che Guevara and Manuel de Falla, one of the greatest names in chamber music in history.

Teach, Learn, Share

History, Filosofy, Sociology, Art, Politics, ... Human things for human people and we add an enormous learning, in which we can get even more excited about the good things that we can still do for each other.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides a good chat, I am very willing in the housekeeping - hands, arms, legs. I do not like to feel a burden or inconvenience.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Cuba, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Spain
