About Me
Hey guys, this is Aljoscha! I'm 23, born and raised in good old Germany and still stuck here 😁 At the moment I'm enjoying the last days in my hometown while working in a Restaurant for 9 months a year before I’ll start studying at university soon. I was given the opportunity to travel the world the other 3 months a year, which allows me to learn about the world but to keep my family and friends close to me at the same time 😊 I love Sports (played Handball and Basketball for a long time, also supporting the German football club Borussia Dortmund for almost 15 years now), Cooking and I'm really, really deep into music. Any kind of music that's made with passion and love is interesting to me but mostly I'm listening to Electronic music, sometimes HipHop and Rock 👌🏼
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
Talking about electronic music: Paul Kalkbrenner is still the 🐐 and will ever be (for me it all started with his music) apart from him I like Marek Hemann, the guys from Hungry Music (Worakls, Joachim Pastor etc.) and Boris Brechja, as well as Goa acts like Phaxe, Metronome and Morten Granau, Hatikwa or Audiomatic, when it comes to Hip-Hop I need to mention Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West, Eminen, ASAP Rocky and Snoop Dogg for sure as well as some German guys named Kool Savas, Marteria, Genetikk or MoTrip, but I also like music made by Dire Straits, Bob Marley, Toto, Runrig or Scorpions because this is what my mum listend to when I was a kid and I still remember it. There‘s nothing that can be compared to the Harry Potter story (for both movies and books) but even though I’m not really watching a lot of movies, I also like the Tributes of Panem and Lord of the Rings. For books it’s definetly ,,The Why Are You Here Cafe" by John Strelecky
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in New Zealand for 5 months in 2017
Teach, Learn, Share
Be spontaneous, be tolerant and be open for everything! Listen to everyone's perspective if they want to tell you about it, then start thinking about it, try it and have fun with whatever it may be. If not, that's alright. A negative experience is also something you will learn from.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In my opinion a sweet taste of music, lots of funny stories and pictures, an introduction into German food, basic cooking skills like using ingredients the right way, cutting, using the right type of temperature and stuff (as I said I'm working in a restaurant, as a sous-chef to be more precise) and I'm pretty sure there is something I can teach you because ,,every person you will ever meet knows something you don't'' (I read this quote on another CS profile and its fucking true, so I needed to write it down as well haha 😄) 👍🏼
