Overview
About Me
My name is Fernanda. Well actually I have two names as most latin americans: Maria Fernanda but I prefer Fernanda. This winter I will be traveling around Europe with my boyfriend Ricardo who likes meeting cool people and discovering new cities just like me. What we love the most from Europe is the multiculturality, you get to know people from all over the world and speak more than one language in just one day. As most mexicans we love eating tacos, spicy food and drinking tequila. I love sunny days and hate it when it is cold but still get excited everytime I see some snow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I've heard the stories from my friends who have already used it and they all agree it's super cool and that you always end up meeting really nice people and having great adventures. One of the other coolest things about living in Europe is the chance you have to try stuff like couchsurfing which it's not as popular where we come from. We like meeting the people who use it and who are open minded and in search for adventure just like us.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I really love a little bit of all types of music except for heavy metall. Lately I've been really in to Indie rock, and my wierdest taste in music is Mexican trova. If you don't know what that is look in youtube for: "pairos y derivas" ;)
Ricardo is a real music one. He loves it. One time he made me watch a 4 hours documentary of Paul McCartney out of his love for the Beatles. So if you like music you'll be good friends.
Books and Movies: Books are my thing and Movies are Ricardo's. With me you can talk for hours from the Harry Potter and GoT series until others more classic like Gabriel Garcia Marquez in latinamerican literature.
In the other hand Richo is the movie's expert: Cristopher Nolan, Wes Anderson, Alfonso Cuaron and so many other directors he can speak about for hours...(trust me I've had hours of this too hahaha)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Mountain biking in Mexico. That's one of the coolest things I've done in my life. I love biking and nature and doing MTB is an activity which fills me up with adrenaline and combines some of the things I love the most. It is really hard going up the mountain, but when you're going down at full speed, avoiding rocks and obstacles and feeling all the adrenaline, you are alive. In one of my pictures Ricardo and me were doing some MTB in Mexico's Iztaccihautl mountain.
Teach, Learn, Share
We are really looking forward to meet new people and learn different ways to see the world. We grew up in a country which is really far away from Europe and getting to hang out and talk and meet people who have experienced life so differently from us but finding out that we have much in common is really cool.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Ricardo is really good at telling jokes and I'm good at cooking so we can share with you our mexican culture, our good vibes and maybe some tacos too :)
