Hi! My name is Lizzy Schuster and I'm from Portland, OR USA (currently living in Eugene, OR). I recently got accepted into the United States Peace Corps and am moving to Burkina Faso (west Africa) to start my position in Community Health Education in June 2017.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My truly wonderful friend Renae and me are traveling around Europe before I leave and are interested in finding a place to stay but also to meet locals and learn about the cities. (side note: we LOVE coffee)

Music, Movies, and Books

My degree is in Family and Human services and I love reading memoirs about activists and important historical figures. I'm currently reading a guilty pleasure book Eat, Pray, Love.

I don't watch a lot of movies but I really love romantic comedies. I listen to lots and lots of music! Some of my favorite artists are Bon Iver, Ingrid Michaelsen, the Weepies, the Beatles, Beyoncé, Fleet Foxes, The Tallest Man on Earth, and Andrew Bird.
