Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm loving the basic idea of couchsurfing.

Right now, I'm travlling through the world. After some time, I recognized that travelling for me means more meeting knew people than visiting Citys or landscapes.

When I travel to a Country I've never been before, I want to learn something about its culture, - and the best way to do this, is by meeting its people.

Couchsurfing was actually brought to me by a friend, who used it many times.
We traveled one month together in Thailand and he invited me to join a Couchsurfing meeting in Bangkok.

I really loved these meetings: Interesting people from all around the world coming together and have a good time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Above all I like good Song, no matter which genre.

Besides I love Reggae (Seeed, Bob Marley... ) and some old Stuff like Ray Charles or Elvis Presley.

When it comes to movies, I prefer complex movies with a message which you have to watch several times to fully understand them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Me and some good friends used to make hiking trips every summer.
Therefore we hiked from southern Germany to France.
It was our first trip and we didn't have much experience about that.
So we were thinking, we could do a kind of survival trip and just took a little food with us.

In the end, we were hungry all the time and recognized, how well the life back home really is.

Anyway it was a great experience. For the next trip through the Mountains of Austria we took enough food with us.
