About Me

My husband Rafael and I are a couple of backpackers, passionate about travel. We have been married for over ten years, now and in May 2019 we started to realize our dream of traveling around the world!

We believe that traveling transforms our mind and our heart. Each trip is a unique experience and, since we have started this journey, we are rediscovering life. Simple things fascinate us, we enjoy the wind in the face, bare feet, the sound of rain and the silence of nature. We believe that happiness is a mental state linked to the energy of people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, series and popcorn! And I have a very varied taste for reading, from The Little Prince to Harlan Coben, but especially what speeds up my heart is travel books! And I like writing about feelings!
Rafa prefers to watch movies or videos on youtube on different subjects, history, sciences, travel and much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We traveled by motorcycle driving 900 km that lasted 15 hours, from Camboriu to Foz do Iguaçu!
We traveled by bus from Camboriu to Asuncion in Paraguay on a 4 day carnival holiday, of which two were exclusive for the round trip!
We climbed an active volcano in Chile.
We cross Ecuador by bus, from Quito to Cuenca, Banos and Guayaquil.

On 2019 we took a break from our professional career, we leave our jobs in Brazil to travel the world, discovering new cultures, meeting people, learning new languages, and seeing life with our own eyes!

Now we travel by motor casa that we make with our hands during pandemic (2020 and 2021).

We are documenting our trip through photos and videos and texts, as I intend to write a book when we are finished! You can see a little of our life in YouTube/c/Kombichileiros
