I host in an African house the African way. do not expect European standards. I host people from many hospitality sites. As i host a lot, i might ask you to buy your own food or give the girls some money and they will buy the food and cook it for you. You will not always find me at home as i live and work in four countries. But somebody will be at home and take care of you. In Senegal it will be Cheikh and Fatou in case i m not at home.

Now i'm back in Dakar after a couple of years of absence where Cheikh and Fatou took care of CS-ers. I live on plateau near El Malick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have been hosting for 30 years. Ran a free hostel. I've been a CS-ambassador. I received a thousand positive references, cancelled my profile a couple of times. The CS site is no longer the voluntary friends group it was 10 years ago. With so many groups on so many topics. You could see common friends of people you did not know yet. I keep my friendship with the people i hosted on other social media. Most of the really active ones left.
