Linköping, Sweden

I live in Linköping, right in front of the university in Ryd. I spend my days teaching eight languages and learning fifteen. I used to work in real estate and exports. Most of the time, my rooms are rented out on Airbnb or through Facebook for periods ranging from six months to several years, but feel free to ask, just in case.

Dakar, Senegal

I host in an African house the African way. do not expect European standards. I host people from many hospitality sites. As i host a lot, i might ask you to buy your own food or give the girls some money and they will buy the food and cook it for you. You will not always find me at home as i live and work in four countries. But somebody will be at home and take care of you. In Senegal it will be Cheikh and Fatou in case i m not at home.

Now i'm back in Dakar after a couple of years of absence where Cheikh and Fatou took care of CS-ers. I live on plateau near El Malick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been hosting for 30 years across three continents and even ran a free hostel. I was a Couchsurfing ambassador and received over a thousand positive references. I've canceled my profile a couple of times over the years. The CS site is no longer the volunteer-based community of friends it was in 2006 when there were so many groups on a wide range of topics, and you could see mutual friends with people you hadn’t even met yet. I stay in touch with many of the people I hosted through other social media. Most of the truly active members have left.
