Overview
About Me
I'm Lisa, 25 years old, born in the Kingdom of Belgium. I like to emphasize the official name of my country because it somehow sounds so royal.
I grew up in Flanders, so I am native Dutch and studied in Brussels. During my last year I left Brussels for Paris ... to discover the wonderful world of art, culture and luxury management but most of all: to practice my French (being native Dutch in a bilingual country = the struggle is real).
I was pretty convinced that I needed to work on my full working proficiency in French to conquer the job market in Belgium ... however right after graduating I moved to Spain.
So I guess I will need to work on my Spanish/Catalan as well...
I am passionate about writing, fashion, art and culture but I ended up working in technology. If that makes any sense? No, it probably doesn't.
However, what fascinates me in life are people. Life is all about the stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I work in Barcelona, but I am currently based at the Costa Daurada where I can host people. I live walking distance from the beach and I have 2 spacious bedrooms available.
I want to host people because if everyone would be here just to find a place to stay for free but nobody would offer one, the concept will die. I also want encourage other young people to travel safely on a budget.
I only host in weekends, but feel free to send me a request!
