Overview
About Me
I am a classical singer from Lithuania at the moment living in Georgia and exploring the exciting life of Caucasus. Even though I would consider myself as an introvert, perhaps a little shy and quiet at first, I genuinely love people, getting to know them and once they give me some time to get comfortable around them, I become funny and open-hearted. :)
Being a musician myself, I apparently love music, everything about it and arts in general. I also like history, going to museums and discovering interesting places.
Spending time in nature is what helps me the best to recharge and calm my mind from unecessary thoughts. I come from a country with beautiful green fields, forests and lakes, yet I feel a great passion for mountainous landscapes. I love travelling so much. Whilst I'm not a person who likes buying stuff at all (if you want to kill me, bring me to a shopping mall when I clearly don't need anything :D), to me travelling is something really worth spending money on. As someone wise said "travelling is the only thing you buy that makes you richer" - couldn't agree more. Seeing places, getting to know different cultures and meeting new people are the activities I would like to live all my life doing.
Frankly speaking, my heart is quite stronly drawn to exploring the Eastern/East Southern countries compared to the West, yet, anyway, the whole world is interesting and full of great things to see and learn.
And... I love animals. All of them. But... DOGS... ahhhhhh!! They are everything. I'll probably annoy you staring at every dog in the street and expressing my admiration. It also means that for a short stay I would accept You with your pet. NB! Provided that there are really very minimal chances of them causing a damage. :)))
One of my biggest dreams is to go on a trip around Armenia someday, since I have felt an extremely strong familiar connection to this country for like ten years or so. Want to finally experience it in reality with some like-minded company. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to meet various people, learn more about different cultures and improve my foreign languages (by the way, in exchange, I can teach you some Lithuanian or to help non-natives with English as well - if there was such a wish).
At the moment I am looking for people who could host me during my trip to Armenia and, if there are any possibilities, to give me some guided tour. After years and years of dreaming about it, I am finally planning to go there this spring (2020) from my current home in Tbilisi. I want to see and get to know about Armenia as much as possible. I already know quite much about it from the internet, books and my Armenian friends, yet it's never enoooooough. If you are an Armenian and you love talking about your country, there is no doubt that we have to meet!!!!
