I am Anna, I am 25 years old and I have been living in Copenhagen since august 2013. At the moment I am living in beautiful Zurich. Originally, I come from an island located in the southern part of Denmark, but I have also been residing in Bavaria for a year back in 2012.

I am a master student at the University of Copenhagen, and my subject is European Ethnology. Previously, I have been working at restaurants, in a marketing department and at a centre for immigrant women. I have enjoyed everything I've been working with, and I am really good at enjoying life and all of its small peculiarities.

Curious and chatty are the words that might describe me the best, though I am also very thoughtful and like to philosophy a lot. I love to dance, skate, contemplate, watch movies, cook, hike, stargaze, chat, listen and become wiser.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly, I am on Couchsurfing because I am a philanthropist. Secondly, I sometimes feel restless spending time in my own. So, this is a very interesting way to get to know people from all over the world, and I really enjoy opening my home for others. I love being a host, and couchsurfing was just a refreshing way of doing so.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I am very much into 60's psychedelic music, 70's funky music and classical music. But it depends on when you'll ask me. Everything can seem appealing under the right circumstances.

I am the biggest movie enthusiast! Instead of listing the titles of the movies, I can reveal that Sergio Leone, Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino, Terry Gilliam, Martin Scorsese, David Lynch and Lars von Trier are among my favorite directors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a child, I sang opera in front of everybody at my school, including their parents. Since then I have been hiding in the shadows.. Nah, maybe not. But, if you're curious I think you have to meet me in real life to hear all the funny anecdotes.

Well, I got the black belt in karate when I was 13 years old!
