About Me
Hiking, making friends at random, and eating popcorn are my favorites. PhD student stuck in a lab all week, and a mountaineering vagabond Saturday-Sunday. Happily resettled in Colorado since 2018, loving new adventures in the Rockies. Teach me something you're passionate about, or share with me your favorite hidden travel/nature gems.
Transitioning from a surfer to a host, in the hopes that I can start paying it back to the CS community after all of the beautiful experiences I’ve been fortunate to have via this platform. My home has an open-door policy, and if I’m available, I’m happy to host-but keep in mind that I only have one couch! Groups of 2+, happy to set you up with a sleeping bag and pillows. :)
**One last note: I've had multiple negative experiences with inappropriate propositions from male CS users. If you send me a message with sexual content, or expect anything of the sort in exchange for accommodation, I will report you.**

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Embarked on a solo travel adventure around the world from August 2017-June 2018 (Sri Lanka, Maldives, Japan, Nepal, India, Jordan, Israel, Palestine, South Africa, Namibia, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, and Ireland). Was so fortunate to experience so many places uniquely through Couchsurfing, and now I'm thrilled to be able to host. I continue to utilize CS as a way to connect with humans who have distinct perspectives and experiences to share.

Teach, Learn, Share
Every human possesses a unique constellation of skills, characteristics, and identities; show me yours! I don't particularly care what it is, but I love when others are able to lend original perspectives or introduce me to concepts, hobbies, places, foods, people that I am unfamiliar with.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A genuine desire to connect. Can teach English, Share my life and travel experiences, dorky tidbits about my research interests. Can cook, bake, sew, paint, draw, knit, create just about anything....if you have any art or home projects, I would love to help!
