About Me
I'm a nursing student at Columbia University. Learning languages is a huge passion of mine. Health and fitness are important to me. I have worked as a case manager for homeless youth, I worked in organ donation, and I hope to continue in emergency medicine as nurse for Doctors Without Borders one day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to see the day to day life of people. Even in the same country, our "norms" are so vastly different. I want to people to share their perspective with me and vice versa.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: English, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic. I enjoy teaching and can give a fun crash course in Arabic
if you're up for one
Learn: Whatever you're an expert on, academic or nonacademic. Everyone's an expert at something, growing up in a country, state, city, town makes you the expert of it.
Share: Moroccan lentils or hummus. Quick, easy, and healthy
What I Can Share with Hosts
On a practical level, I can cook for you. I enjoy cooking and can make healthy vegan meals for you.
I like talking about cultures. Living in Morocco, I've thought about honor/shame culture vs our innocence/guilt culture.
I want to work in emergency medicine, so talking about grief and trauma are also interesting to me.
