Hey!

I’m Álvaro, and I was born in Santos/SP- Brazil (yes, the same city/team as the soccer player Pele used to play).

I’m a Project Engineer andI have have been working with automation machinery and cooling towers eversince I finished college.

But this is just boring, right?

Here is a list of what I really enjoy:

- Listen and play music. And, by the way, I play guitar and bass. I love all kind of music, and I’ve already been in concerts like Eric Clapton, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, KISS, John Mayer, Bruno Mars, Ozzy, and so many others;

- Travel !! Since first time I went abroad Brazil, I realized that is my true passion. To take trips, and discover new places, people, food, and everything that travel can bring to your life!

- Sports!! I love NFL, NBA, Soccer, Tennis, and more.

- Greatest idols: Roger Federer, Michael Jordan, Eric Clapton.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing because I believe that exchange experience with someone who lives at the place that you’re visiting is the best way to you get familiar with the place, tradition, culture and else.

It’s incredible the possibility to arrive at a place and meet someone with the same interestings of you, and been part of their lives, even for a short period of time, and exchange conversation about anything, experiences, travels, music, sports, or whatever.
