关于我
I can sometimes seem melancholic and more like a watcher than participator in large groups. That doesn't mean I don't like socialising - it is simply because I enjoy doing it in small groups of two or three rather than big circles of people. But even in such cases I find myself enjoying the possibility to observe. I like quirky, unusual people who are comfortable with their quirkiness. When in a mood, I can be absolutely crazy (those are the moments when I find myself extremely funny, even though others probably don't, sorry guys). I try to notice beauty in things that surround me, I like autumn and listening to sounds that seem irrelevant most of the time. I try to be an honest person, a loyal friend and a never-giving-up-looking-at-the-bright-side human-being. I can't wait to meet you!
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
Because I've always felt some kind of animosity towards the culture of tourism. And Couchsurfing seems like the best way to conquer that! :^) I haven't hosted or been hosted by anyone yet but I can't wait for my first Couchsurfing experience.

音乐、电影和书籍
I like all kinds of music (it really has nothing to do with genre - e.g. I adore Gregorian chants, but some good 70s rock will definitely do). Some artists are - Bob Dylan, the Doors, Ólöf Arnalds, Nick Drake, Pink Floyd, Ben Howard, Kings of Convenience. I am also totally, desperately, unconditionally in love with traditional folk music! I am a member of Lithuanian traditional folk group "Ratilio", so I can sing Lithuanian folk songs to you if you like :))))))
Books - I realised that I find it extremely difficult to list my favorite books, because naming one feels like forgetting another. I've always thought of myself as a person who loves to read, but when it comes to everyday life I actually struggle to find the time and energy to sit down and commit myself to the book. Anyways, some authors that I really enjoyed are: Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Romain Gary, JRR Tolkien, Hermann Hesse, Gilbert Keith Chesterton, Erich Maria Remarque, Tove Jansson and some Lithuanian authors that you probably (and unfortunately!) don't know.
I also like poetry a lot (when I don't find it pretentious - that sometimes happens, oops).
Movies - recently been watching some of the classics (Antonioni, Hitchcock, von Trier), trying to fill the gaps in my education and understanding of the world of cinema. My favorite director must be Andrei Tarkovsky as he never fails to move me in mysterious ways.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I've walked (half of) Camino Santiago (specifically - Camino Frances) and I hope to do the full 800 one day!
I have also begun to learn to play bagpipes.
